Northwest Cornbread-Nut Dressing
Preparation Instructions
Keep Refrigerated Until Ready to Bake.
The cornmeal, vegetables and nuts in this product
are from local family farms here in Oregon’s fertile Willamette Valley.
This recipe has been a mainstay of our Holiday feasts at Three Square
Grill
for over 13 years and we hope it will become one of your family
traditions as well,
Thank you for letting us be a part of your meal.
We always roast our holiday birds without stuffing them,
and recommend baking this dressing in a separate dish.
Ingredients: Cornbread (cornmeal, wheat flour, baking powder, salt, sugar,
Cream, clarified butter, pasteurized egg), onion, celery, leek, shallot,
Red pepper, salt, pepper, parsley,
Oregon Hazelnuts + Chestnuts.
INSTRUCTIONS
Remove contents from bag and place in a mixing bowl.
Add:
1 large egg
1 ½ cup cream
½ cup water or stock
2 oz. melted butter plus 2 oz soft butter for pan.
Fold ingredients together,
And place in a buttered baking dish and cover with foil.
Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for ½ hour, remove foil
And continue baking until crisp around the edges.
You may add more liquid if desired.
Serve Hot.
